I am an English American creative designer.
In 2006 I completed my undergraduate
degree in visual communications at ESMA (Ecole Supérieure des Métiers Artistiques), Montpellier, France after which I moved to London and worked from 2007-2008 as
an inhouse designer for TNI UK, freelancing occasionally on the side. I have recently obtained a Masters in graphic design communications from Chelsea College
of Art and Design, London.
Having moved to France shortly after September 11, 2001 and during the onset of the war in Afghanistan, I developed a stronginterest in the control of popular opinion via manipulation and the deceptive use of images within the American and french medias. An image can be used to tell a thousand stories, its reality lost in a complex web of meaning created within visual culture.
These ideas have strongly influenced my creative path and led me to explore my interests in environmental awareness and sustainable design through the process of visual journalism. My latest work, The Natural Object, is a content driven, visual investigation of the true reality behind the pure, healthy, convenient image of the bottled water industry. In an attempt to reconnect vision and truth,
I am interested in finding visually stimulating ways to share information, spark curiosity, discussion and progressive thinking.
I have experience in branding, advertising, editorial design, web design and believe
in harnessing the power of image to promote ethical values and sustainable thinking.
When creating my own content as a designer,
I must take full responsibility for my message; this notion being at the forefront of my practice. -
Please, don’t be shy. Whether you want to comment on my work, work with me, hire me or just say hello I’d love
to hear from you.
If you have a specific project you would like to talk about, please note your estimated budget, time frame and a short description of the project and I will get back to you right away.
